Reporting to the Area Manager you will based at our Main Roads Project located near Auski Roadhouse servicing Main Roads and Koodaideri Rail project. You will plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors in order to deliver projects according to plan.

About the role:

As the Project Manager you will have an eye for client relations, commercial management and operational oversight while you define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle while assisting the Area Manager for P&L and will be a company representative to the client.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Support the Area Manager to create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
  • Assists with managing day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
  • Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
  • Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.

Skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications within Civil engineering or similar
  • Demonstrated experience building long term internal and external relationships
  • Strong safety focus ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
  • Tracking and controlling of project costs accurately
  • Strong leadership skills and the demonstrated ability to effect change.
  • Proven capabilities to self-manage within broad strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and find new ways to meet our customer needs.
