About the role

Based in Pooraka, in this role you will be vital to ensuring safety is managed on site while having a strong focus on quality, people, integrity and customer service. This role is a safety leader, and it is expected that the Production Manager leads the development of our safety culture in order to achieve Zero Harm on site. The Production Manager position reports to the State Area Manager, and is responsible for managing day to day operations on site, as well as spear-heading and managing process improvement projects. You will have cost centre accountability, as well at the opportunity to develop and implement capital improvement projects in order to meet and exceed budget and project requirements.

About you

Leading a team of 40 plus people, you will need an extensive background in managing similar just-in-time manufacturing environments. Ideally you have led and developed a mixed discipline team of tradespeople and engineers to achieve production targets and satisfy customers in a competitive industrial setting.

Tertiary qualifications in mechanical, civil, or process engineering would be advantageous and you will need to be a true leader that understands how to energise a team to exceed targets.

Delivering results across all areas of the business including safety, quality, people and budgets, you be vital in the operations ongoing success.
