About the role

As a key part of the team you will be responsible for successfully managing the procurement activity across our construction materials business.  This is an all rounder role that will be involved in procurement activity across various categories.

Working closely with key internal stakeholders, this role will have you leading a critical procurement process that is fast paced and constantly changing.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Planning procurement activity in regards to sourcing, analysing and identifying opportunities
  • Executing performance based contracts and ensuring KPI's and targets are achieved
  • Drive, develop and execute negotiation strategy with suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all national and regional category strategies as well as with Holcim group requirements and practices

About you

Relevant experience in a similar procurement/category management role is required .

A relevant degree in purchasing, business or similar is required while a CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) qualification would be an advantage.

Having the ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast paced environment, you will need to be confident in your dealings with a range of people.

Professional level written and verbal communication skills are essential along with a proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
