About the role
This role will motivate and drive our production team to achieve their very best whilst also meeting company safety, environmental and financial targets.
You will be a key part of the leadership team responsible for assisting the Management team to deliver products that are fit for purpose, meet business forecasts and customer expectations.
About you
You will ideally come from a similar role within a quarrying/mining environment managing crushing, screening or a large process plant. You will have demonstrated experience supervising, training and coaching a multi discipline team.
The position will assist the Quarry Manager with management duties including performance development and management of operators, providing workflow and process direction, contractor and customer communications, site audits, general maintenance and upkeep of the quarry.
You will also need
- Relevant quarry supervision accreditation such as Diploma in Extractive Industries or similar would be an advantage but not essential
- Demonstrated leadership and people supervision experience
- Thorough understanding of crushing and screening operations.
- Working knowledge of Safety Management Systems
- Be reliable, motivated and be able to work under pressure and changing priorities
