About the role

Coordination of all dispatch activities at our Auckland Terminal 

• Fully compliant with all safety procedures, ensuring drivers have accurate paperwork, correct equipment, correct loading and sizing, fatigue management
• Planning loading and deliveries to ensure optimum use of space and capacity
• Producing detailed delivery schedules, picking slips for each load
• Coordinate between loading yard and production teams
• Tracking loads to ensure prompt and accurate delivery times
• Maintaining excellent customer service with external clients through phone, email and other forms of communication, ensuring complaints are dealt with properly
• Accurate and timely financial reporting including credit guidelines followed

About you

• Previous experience in a similar role within heavy manufacturing or logistics
• Exposure to the building materials or construction sectors is an advantage
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and be able to build rapport
• Able to find ways to put together solutions that add value for your customers
